Ziyu Ran is a Master student in City Planning at MIT Department of Urban Studies and Planning. She holds her B.Arch and M.Arch degree from Tsinghua University in China. She is interested in smart city, urban data analysis, sustainable transportation and social product management. Her current research topic is using call detail data to identify users’ mobility pattern and the risk of Covid-19 spread by machine learning algorithms.
